What you're really saying is, you're due any time now. So assuming you're going to be busy... Hope it goes / has gone really well!
Closer to home for me:
My youngest is getting much more assertive verbally and coming out with words like "STOP" along with appropriate hand gestures... which is a massive
improvement from biting, hitting, kicking, headbutting, or massive tantrums.

So our little baby girl "Eddy" was born friday at 11:14am weighing in at 3.56kg's was a pretty long drawn out process (went in to hospital at 6am
wednesday) and all are doing as well as can be expected! Few scary moments along the way and after 50 odd waking hours we were both complete messes.
But has all been totally worth it!!!!

This might seem a bit wierd, but...
we took our youngest son to the assessment team from Westmead earlier in the week. It was a very full day, we were there from 9:40 till 2:20 being
interviewed, or our son being put through a series of assessments.
At the end of it we got a very comprehensive report, along with the advice that "this is only the preliminary summary, the full report will come in
the mail". The preliminary summary is three pages, with 12 "action items"!
We also were advised of a definate diagnosis for the forseeable future to replace the preliminary diagnosis the paediatrician had come up with - we
are now advised our son is "classically" autistic, rather than just being "somewhere on the spectrum".
This at least gives us a much more defined situation from which we can seek therapy, treatment, and assistance over the coming commencementin school
and even longer term.
Now this seems like something crappy to be happy about, but, the level of advice, expertise and assistance we are getting is why this is in the happy
thread not the sad thread. We really do live in a great country which provides fantastic resources for those of us who really need access to them, and
for that my family and I are constantly overwhelmed by what is available.

Garrie, that's good. I suspect you knew already, the confirmation means things can move forward in other areas.
I've got a brother who almost certainly falls somewhere on the spectrum. If only 38 years ago they had the diagnosis and interventions they do now,
life would have been so much easier.

That's good. Will you keep it up forever or is it just a period of abstinence?
